and then it rained!
Let’s see, I think I’m about a week behind in blogging…. Generally though things are going well and getting back on track. On Monday I went out for a run that a month ago took me 47mins, and completed it in 42mins without a single taste of ITB. Better still, last Thursday I decided to miss the speed work session (have since decided on one a week till the new year) and did the riverloop. Basically the usual track from the Ship Inn, along the floating walkway and back around, I felt tired but didn’t need to stop and managed to keep a fair pace the whole way, even up the hill back over the Storey Bridge.
The plan for this week was
Monday – 40 min run – done
Tuesday – 30min puppy walk – done
Wednesday – 30min puppy run – done
Thursday – speedwork –not done – got up at 5am, left the house and got half way down the street before the rain was so bad I couldn’t even see 5meters in front of me. Filled up with fuel as the car was on empty and drove back home!
Friday – 40min run planned
Saturday – 20min swim planned
Sunday – 1hour run planned

Great news Chelle! Must admit I was a little concerned when you weren't at Pat's this week.
Believe it or not we didn't get a single drop of rain during the session this morning. Though I wished it was p***ing down, at least then I'd have a bit of an excuse for not running as well as planned :-)
Hopefully see you there next week.
Chelle, I'm so glad to hear that you are running again without any sign of an ITB problem. I've still got about 2 weeks off the road thanks to my ITB - I am so looking forward to the day I can run again without it playing up!
So then miss - how did your week pan out in the end? Really glad to hear the ITB is settling down now. Hopefully 2006 will be a BIG year for you!
That's good news Chelle....what a relief it must be to have the ITB behaving itself! I hope you stay well & enjoy Christmas and the new year.
